The event was a great success and featured guest speakers Rt Hon Greg Hands MP, Conservative MP for Chelsea and Fulham and Richard Pursey, Founder and Chairman of SafeToNet.

Throughout the evening, attendees across a variety of different West London businesses had the opportunity to meet with like-minded people and exchange new ideas while enjoying the backdrop of the stunning Chelsea Football Club facilities.

Rt Hon Greg Hands MP provided an insight into the active role government takes in fostering and supporting local businesses including Start Up Loans and the Made Smarter Adoption scheme. It was great to hear about the schemes helping businesses to increase productivity, seize investment opportunities and grow, especially through the rising cost of living crisis.

We also heard invaluable advice from Richard Pursey who has successfully raised over £75 million in capital and has started and sold four businesses. Richard delved into his wealth of experience to share his top lessons learnt which were greatly appreciated by all attendees. These included the importance of having an instant mental recall on all facets of your business, jumping on opportunities as “time kills deals”, and most importantly having self-belief in your product which will be the key to inspire confidence in potential investors.

We raised over £800 for the Chelsea Foundation on the night and would like to thank the speakers and all attendees for being part of this exciting event and helping foster a thriving network.
